WAVERLEY SPEAKERS CLUB

Waverley Speakers Club is Edinburgh’s only all-male club and offers a warm welcome to speakers of all ages and abilities. Founded in 1946, our aim is to offer an encouraging and enjoyable forum to practice and perfect our public speaking skills. The emphasis is very much on enjoyment, and in addition to a well-attended winter programme, the club also runs a number of extra-curricular events, including a Burns supper, an annual dinner, a summer barbeque and well-attended hill walking and golf outings. Meeting are 7.15 for 7.30 at the Boroughmuir Rugby Club, Meggetland, Colinton Road, Edinburgh, EH14 1AS and are usually finished by 9.45. Map to Boroughmuir Rugby Club

Meetings generally comprise the following:- Short Business Meeting Short Impromptu Speeches Coffee Break Prepared Speeches Evaluations and Advice Meeting Close Drinks at the bar
